National Tourism Photography Contest - Terms and Conditions
1. Introduction
The National Tourism Photography Contest, organized by National Tourism Pakistan (NTP), seeks to promote the beauty, culture, and heritage of Pakistan through photography. By entering this contest, participants agree to the terms and conditions outlined below.
2. Eligibility
The contest is open to all individuals, professional or amateur photographers, aged 18 and above.
Entries must not have been previously seen, commercially used, or entered in other competitions organized by NTP.
All photos must be taken in Pakistan.
4. Copyright and Usage
Participants retain full copyright of their submitted images.
By entering the contest, participants grant National Tourism Pakistan a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide license to use, reproduce, and display the images for promotional and educational purposes, including but not limited to exhibitions, social media, websites, and other public media.
National Tourism Pakistan will always credit the author when displaying or using the image.
5. Entry Rules
Each participant may submit only one entry.
Photographs must focus on locations within Pakistan and showcase its tourism, culture, or natural beauty.
There are no restrictions on when the photo was taken, as long as it meets the contest theme and eligibility criteria.
In addition to submitting your photography and video message, contestants are required to:
Record a 10 to 15-second video message with the following statement:
"National Tourism, Culture & Heritage Expo 2025 is going to be held at the Pak-China Friendship Center on 4-5 January 2025. I am going to join it, and you are also invited to witness this grand national tourism event!"
Publish this video message on your social media accounts, including Facebook, TikTok, Twitter (X), and Instagram.
Share the links to your social media video message along with the submission of your photography entry in the contest.

Your entry will only be considered valid if all steps, including social media publication and following the WhatsApp channel, are completed.
6. Submission Guidelines
Photos must be submitted in digital format (JPEG).
Minimum resolution: 1920 pixels on the longest side and a minimum of 150 dpi.
· There is no need to rename the file. Our automated system will generate a unique filename and attach it to your profile upon submission.
· Images must not contain any photographer’s name, logo, or watermark.

7. File Manipulation
Only basic color corrections and adjustments are permitted. Heavy manipulation, such as adding or removing elements, is not allowed.
Photomontages, collages, and AI-generated images are not permitted.
Contestants may be asked to submit the original RAW files to verify authenticity.
8. Prizes
First Prize: Rs. 100000/-
Second Prize: Rs. 50000/-
Third Prize: Rs. 25000/-
Prizes for each contest edition may vary and will be announced separately for each competition. National Tourism Pakistan (NTP) reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value if necessary.
9. NTP Awards
Winning and shortlisted images will be recognized at the NTP Awards Ceremony.
Winners may be invited to participate in future NTP projects, exhibitions, and awareness campaigns.
10. Judging Criteria
Images will be judged based on the following criteria:
Creativity and originality
Technical quality
Alignment with the contest theme
Visual composition and impact
The decisions of the judges are final and binding.
Additionally, there will be a public online voting system for selected contests. Images in this category will be judged based on:
Maximum votes received from the public
Voting protection: Each vote will be limited to one per IP address to ensure fairness and prevent manipulation.
The results of the online voting will also be final and binding.
11. Disqualification
Entries may be disqualified if they:
Contain inappropriate, offensive, or defamatory content.
Involve plagiarism or violate any third-party rights.
Have been heavily altered beyond basic photo editing.
12. Notification of Winners
Winners will be notified by email and phone. The results will also be announced on NTP’s website and social media platforms.
13. Publicity and Consent
By entering, participants agree to be featured in NTP's promotional activities, including interviews, social media features, and exhibitions.
14. Liability
Participants guarantee that they have obtained all necessary permissions from subjects appearing in the photographs.
NTP is not responsible for any claims related to the violation of third-party rights.
15. Data Protection
Personal data provided by participants will be used solely for the administration of the contest, in compliance with data protection regulations.
